Time to catch up! So here’s an update from my Ragnar Relay post until the third week of February in regard to my running and overall training. What did I find out? Am I getting faster, slower, or staying about the same?

These three weeks are the start of what was a short lived obsession with getting faster! A co-worker of mine recently took interest in running, and decided to join me for a lunch run. What was a casual run, turned into an all out assault. Our fastest mile time hovers around 7:39 per mile – aka throw up speed. It was worth the investment, because in the long runs, my times have since gotten much better.
Long convinced I was a 9 minute mile man, I can happily report I’ve been hovering in the mid to low 8 minute range and have only seen my performance improving.
